Jabong, an online e-commerce started in 2012 by Praveen Sinha, Lakshmi Potluri, Arun Chandra Mohan, is now owned by flipkart. In 2016, the acquisition of Jabong took place through the unit of Flipkart, Myntra for $70 Million, a fire-deal which made many big fashion companies sweat. As per ComScore reports in 2012, within few months of its launch, it had second largest traffic among all the e-commerce websites in India. In 2013, the website ranked 37 in India according to Alexa Ranking. And, once was among the topmost 10 searched terms in Google Zeitgeist India Trends. Stardom of Jabong also had International Online shopping store Jabongworld.com, which was shut down later in 2016 and had a long list of countries generating traffic to it among which, US holds the topmost position, followed by Malaysia and Mauritius and other countries.

For marketing campaigns with bollywood stars and astonishing designers, Jabong has always been in news. It is also in partnership with Stylista and some other Indian Designers collection like Wendell Rodricks, Priyadarshini Rao, Nishika Lulla. It also launched "Gear up Buddy", a digital fitness campaign along with Puma and has also partnered with Lakme Fashion Week, designer Rohit Pal for their collection.  A fashion week was also launched by Jabong in 2014, featuring Yami Gautam as one of the mentors for young and aspiring models, stylists and, photographers.
